It is no coincidence that the term “ristorare” comes from the Latin word “restore”: the Giornata della Ristorazione is first and foremost a fundamental social occasion to refound the country’s sense of community.

Since time immemorial, the egg has been a symbol of life, fertility and rebirth. In art and culture it represents the origin of everything, the point from which everything is born and into which everything is transformed. It is a symbol of rebirth and perfection and the emblematic ingredient of change.
